*Get Book Holders organized for the Week of March 21^st to 25^th

*I Pick Book Lessons Week of March 28^th to 31^st

*Independent Reading Lessons Week of April 4^th to 8^th

*Read/Scan over Ch. 1- 4 for April 11^th

Ideas for Student Names on the Book Holders:

-Alphabet stickers from the Dollar Store (I have some and can get more if you are interested)

-Use Word Art to create Vertical names and cut and paste

-Attach a label

-Some teachers have attached the student’s photo (either from digital camera or school picture) on the book nook

-You could have the students decorate their own (but be warned- these will travel with the students between grades- If they adorn the book holder with I Love Justin Bieber, they might not like it in future)

-Tips from teachers in past are to keep them simple (you don’t want students drawing on the book holders instead of reading)

-Perhaps junior teachers could lend some helpers or have reading buddies help

-This is also a great job for volunteers or co-op students
